The technology recycle nylon waste into fuel oil

Institute for building material has successfully created and  transfered the system of recycling nylon waste into fuel oil with a capacity of 2.5 oil tons/day for Vietnam Environment Join Stock Company (Da Nang Province). The success has marked a perfect waste treatment technology with Vietnam brand.


Device line and technology of recylcing nylon waste to fuel oil is researched, designed, made and tranfered by Institute for Buliding Material. The product belong to a study in Building Ministry level with number code RD 28-11 “Researching and Application the technology of recycling nylon waste into fuel oil to saving energy and protect environment”


The technology of recyling nylon waste into fuel oil is implemented through the process of sperating impurities and treating plastic, catalytic pyrolysis process will break the circuit structure of a plastic polymer and the separation of product segments. Products of the technology include: 15-25% of gas is processed and used for heating fuel of pyrolysis furnace; 60-65% liquid fuels (PO oil) is composed of the same hydrocarbon on petroleum mixtures from oil and 5- 10% ash coal.
 

Fuel oil products with high calorific value from 10,000 - 11,000 Kcal / kg would be a good source of fuel that can replace one part or 100% for the incinerator is used for DO and FO today.
Dr Mai Ngoc Tam, Deputy Director of Institute of Materials, Ministry of Construction, this technology not only minimize landfill, reduce environmental pollution, especially salvage, recycling the persistent part in both the domestic waste generated renewable energy source for the manufacturing industry using local heating oil.
