GreenID activities

The cold days at the end of November marked a significant milestone for  the pleasure and happiness glowing on each face, and radiant  smile of people in Hoang Mon village, Nam Cuong commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province.

With the support of Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Southeast Asia, Green Innovation and Development Centre (GreenID) cooperating with the Nam Dinh Center for Community Development (NCCD) organized a training workshop for women leaders at village level on sustainable energy solutions, waste management and treatment in Nam Dinh city from 5th to 7th June.

The two communes of Thai Binh province go as pioneers in turning local waste into renewable energy resources to serve local needs.

Consultant Seminar for amended Electricity Act 2012 was held in Green Innovation and Development Center (GreenID) under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. The Seminar welcomed the participation of experts from research institutes and universities in the country.

A training workshop on “Saving energy” for students majoring in International Relations, Academy of Journalism and Communication was organized under the auspices of Green Innovation and Development Center (GreenID) on November 18, 2013 in “Sustainable Energy Centre”, Hanoi

The Workshop on “Sustainable Energy Development in Vietnam” was held by the coordination of the Standing Committee of Congress on Science, Technology and Environment (SCSTE), Vietnam Union of Science and Technique (VUSTA), GreenID, WWF, CEWAREC, SE and SSNC on December 11, 2012, in Hanoi Club Hotel.
