On 30 July, 2021, Green Innovation and Development Center (GreenID) cooperated with Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) to organize a webinar program summarizing the project " Increasing capacity building for social, professional and local organizations on renewable energy (RE) and efficiency energy (EE) solutions through training courses, workshops, seminars and communication to contribute to promoting the implementation of the strategy of sustainable development and green growth in Vietnam (E-Enhance)" chaired by GreenID from August 2017 to August 2021 with the financial support of Delegation of the European Union. The closing ceremony officially ended that proud journey. Let's all look back on the past 4 years.

Through 04 years of implementation, GreenID has cooperated with partners in different fields across the country such as schools, state agencies, experts, networks, businesses and media agencies to perform activities.
The Green school program opens the closing ceremony of the E-Enhance project. 14 schools in the Green Citizen Schools network have combined results from the past 4 years. Due to time limit, the closing ceremony only reached 5 bridges from 5 schools, but so many creative ideas and activities from students and teachers surprised the organizers such as: Continuing online activities during the pandemic and summer break, the Green Star Badge was given to the club for students, and flag the Air Quality daily at the school... The Green Citizen School Program was present in all three regions of the country, from different regions as far away as Lao Cai, Quang Tri to big cities like Hanoi, Da Nang... Wherever, program staffs also receive welcome, response and fire from students and teachers.
Up to now, the project has completed its objectives with results exceeding expectations:
08 green solutions were install such as: solar water heater, household solar PV systerm... in 7 provinces adn 9 communities across the country.
60 scientific and social organizations in Vietnam and 07 key master trainers were select-ed and eceived in- depth training.
More than 2,600 participants were increased awareness on Renewable Energy( RE) and Efficiency Energy( EE).
Green Citizen School program with 14 schools and 520 students and teachers participated in attractive connection and maintenance programs

The project's 4-year journey is just the beginning of a journey towards Green energy in Vietnam that can move towards the goal of zero carbon emissions by 2050. GreenID hopes that the results of the project will be shared by lecturers. Renewable energy models will be encouraged to apply to increase energy access for poor communities - communities without electricity. And the Green Citizen School will continue to be replicated in the Vietnamese education system to prepare for the Green Leaders to push the flywheel to move clean and sustainable energy faster for a Vietnam Green and Prosperous.
