On May 12th and 13th, 2020, Green Innovation and Development Centre installed two air quality meters of PAM Air at two secondary schools in Ha Noi.
In the framework of the project: “ Enhancing the capacity for local, professional, social organizations on renewable energy solutions and economical, efficient use of energy through training course, training, seminars and communication to contribute to the promotion of implementing the strategies of sustainable development and green growth in VietNam” sponsored by EU, Green Innovation and Development Centre supported the installation of air quality meters of PAM Air at Le Quy Don Secondary School and High School in Nam Tu Liem District and Nguyen Trai Secondary School in Ba Dinh District, Ha Noi.

By installing air quality meters at schools, students and teachers can directly track the air quality at their school sites via the PAM Air app on their phones. Thanks to this, they can have measures of appropriate self-protection in days when indicators of the air quality are at a bad level. The following are some significant measures like using fine dust masks, planting air-purifying ornamental trees, and using public transports.
This activity is part of the project "Civil society meets RE&EE: training, seminar and communication skills to boost RE&EE as a key tool for sustainable development and green growth strategy in Vietnam (E-Enhance)", funded by the EU.
