From 29th to 30th, September 2020, GreenID organized a training course for teachers from schools under ‘’Green School" program.
The training course for 22 teachers from 10 schools under "Green School" project is aimed at equipping knowledge, teaching methods, and promoting the school to apply the sustainable energy model, towards saving cost, protecting the environment, improving students' skills and participation.
Participating in the training session, all the teachers were not only equipped with theoretical knowledge but also directly practiced lesson planning and implementation. All teachers participated in the discussion very actively, bringing in the spirit of inquisitive, sharing experiences, and helping each other in the learning process. In addition, they were all received the assessments, feedback as well as the support from experts attending the training session.
Sharing after the training session, Mrs. Tram - a teacher of Sky-line education system, Da Nang: “Through the course, we were inspired and very happy to become core teachers and pioneers bringing what we have learned to Da Nang and Quang Nam to build the green school model. The Sky-line education system is very concerned about the environment, we have had many activities and campaigns on specific environmental problems. With the knowledge and ideas learned from this training course, we will improve our plans and suggest new ideas, together to build a Sky-line education system with a green future.
“Through the program, I gained new knowledge, got to know other teachers of many schools across the country. I really want to share the knowledge I have learned about air pollution, renewable energy and energy-efficiency with my students and their parents ”- Mrs. Thao - a teacher at Yen So Secondary School, Hoai Duc, Hanoi.
In the near future, teachers will directly apply their learned knowledge to teach and train for Green Star Club at their schools. Let's look forward to upcoming activities and initiatives in your Green Star Club!
