Throughout 2 days, the event called "Clean Air Store" was held at 2 major locations: Panasonic Risupia, 90 Tran Thai Tong and Trinh Cong Son Walking Street, attracting more than 1000 attendees. Coming to the event, both parents and children can access to many useful information on the topic of air pollution through many new challenges and experiences: immersing in the exhibition of solutions on air pollution, searching for clean air or exploring the colorful art world and drawing wishes for a fresh new year ...

22-23, December, 2018, Green Innovation and Development Center (GreenID) and Live and Learn Environmental Education (Live&Learn) co-organized the Vietnam Clean Air Day event. With the message "Clean air - Green gift - Healthy family", Vietnam Clean Air Day 2018 is organized to increase public awareness about the situation, causes and impacts of air pollution to public health, thereby promoting changes in attitudes and actions in improving air quality.

The "Clean air 2018 store” attracted the attention of numerous attendees, especially families with young children. The booth had eye-catching decoration, the highlight is the green pots with the ability to purify the indoor air such as perpetual bar, aloe vera, tiger blade ... On the pylon of trees, we hang beautiful paintings introducing a set of 6 solutions for air pollution with easy-to-remember verses that anyone can memorize right from the first look. The exhibition area not only opened the world of poetry and music, but also drew attendees to countless surprises. The small QR code at the end of each picture reveals a solution to the clean atmosphere that anyone can discover immediately: Update the air quality index through scanning QR codes and downloading the app. We understand that tracking the quality of the atmosphere every day will help families proactively seek and implement solutions to "live with floods", joining hands to reduce pollution for health of family!

Game area "Finding clean air" "Green citizen passport" is also not solitary than the exhibition area. After listening to the "messengers" of the clean atmosphere to guide the game to families, each parent and child received a set of 78 cards describing 6 solutions for air pollution. Each player have to match the descriptive cards with each solution. Our game booth is designed with enough space for 40 families to play with, friendly enough for parents to sit back, patiently tell their children about interesting scientific knowledge. The beautiful 6-color lucky money set, the PM 2.5 fine dust filter masks are the gifts that the Clean Air Knights send to the families participating in the challenge of rescuing the air. Perhaps there is no more expectation when the New Year comes than parents and children will together pack a clean atmosphere for the family to give to each other.

The co-painting activity made our young knights excited. Each small friend has chosen his own corner on the big picture to satisfy his creativity and delight to paint the pure world of the children. During 3 hours of the afternoon at the weekend, the co-creation picture is increasingly extended, with the elaborate little hands, by the larger hands writing the promise of the year: "I will plant more green trees in the house”, “I will wear a dust-proof mask when I go to the street”, “Today I go to Clean Air Day by bus and I will take the bus as much as possible”… Good things will be started from co-operation. The clean atmosphere is a green gift for all families when everyone gathers a part of their effort.

Hopes for a healthy new year, promises to act and contribute to green life, warm love of family atmosphere and a lively program with lots of information interesting ... That's what anyone, whether accidentally or intentionally visiting our clean air booth can feel. A special feature of this year's festival, GreenID did not choose a deep, dark color to talk about the situation, causes, and warnings of harm and raised concerns about the health problem of air pollution. We choose a space that is open and close to love and Christmas, so that everyone can sit and talk to each other, tell each other about the wish of a happy new year and bring together the gift solutions for clean air to come home. That is also the words that Ms. Nguy Thi Khanh shared during the "Clean Air - Christmas Gift for Children" event, about the idea of Vietnam Clean Air campaign - a communication campaign on the topic of air pollution, but not deeply analyze negative aspects, but focus on opening solutions, creating space for dialogue with the public to protect the health of families and society.

Each one of us whispered to each other and said: There is nothing happier than witnessing the moments of family member playing together. Family is a place to count on, never lose love. However, a safe home with parents, with healthy children will be a source of nurturing that love for a long time.

Perhaps, this is the first time Clean Air Vietnam has witnessed such a warm and emotional atmosphere. They all share a voice, share an action, volunteer and commit to change because of air protection and health. We really thanks for smiles, our hearts exchanged yesterday, today and the following days. Thank parents for coming and encouraging children to learn and play about self-protection knowledge, purifying living space for healthy families!

Vietnam Clean Air Day is an activity in Clean Air Campaign launched annually by the Green Innovation and Development Center (GreenID), co-organized in 2018 with the Live and Learn Environmental Education Vietnam (Live & Learn). This campaign aims to contribute to the voice of community in the process of building, improving and enforcing clean air policies in Vietnam. Campaign activities include:

(1) Develop and provide information to help users easily access information about the situation and solutions to air pollution problems in their neighborhood;

(2) Communication campaign to share air quality messages;

(3) Activities and events at schools, residential areas and public places.
